Tom Shea

Chief Executive Officer | OneStream Software Read Bio
Tom was an original founder of UpStream Software in January of 2000 where he invented and architected UpStream TB and later UpStream WebLink. These products pioneered a new space called Financial Data Quality and achieved a better way to manage data quality for Hyperion products by providing a packaged product (UpStream/FDM) every company could use.

Tom is an original founder of OneStream Software and an original architect of OneStream XF. He is passionate when it comes to delivering value, success and support. Tom’s passion and true strength stems from a deep, unique understanding of Finance that leads to truly innovative and revolutionary products.

Tom began working on OneStream XF more than 8 years ago and his vision is to change the entire CPM ecosystem with a solution that combines power and flexibility with ease of use, deployment and maintenance.

Bob Powers

Chief Technology Officer | OneStream Software Read Bio
Bob started at Hyperion Solutions in 1995 and advanced from Senior Software Engineer to Vice President of Software Development in a 12 year period. Initially, Bob worked on Hyperion Enterprise, built the Hyperion Schedules Module and managed Hyperion’s first OLAP product. Over the next several years, Bob invented, architected, implemented and led the development organization for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). This was the first product with an OLAP engine designed specifically for Financial Reporting and Consolidation. He was later responsible for Hyperion Strategic Finance and assimilating the newly acquired MDM and UpStream/FDM organizations into Hyperion.

In 2007, Bob left Hyperion to join Allegient Systems as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) where he was responsible for a multi-tenant cloud-based SaaS solution that facilitates legal bill review for insurance companies. After gaining first-hand experience with modern cloud-based technologies and working for years to integrate multiple incompatible products, Bob was convinced there must be a better way to help businesses manage their CPM activities. Bob is an original founder of OneStream Software and inventor of Extensible Dimensionality™. He and Tom Shea architected OneStream XF to be the only extensible CPM platform that simplifies complex business problems and provides the exact same capabilities regardless of whether it is used in the cloud or on-premise.

Craig Colby

Craig was a founder of UpStream Software in January of 2000 and an original founder of OneStream Software. Craig has a Finance education and background, however, his passion is communicating value to customers. The key to delivering 100% customer success starts with effectively setting expectations with regards to the product, solutions, support and services.

He has a passion for working with financial applications that combine ease of ownership, maintenance and use with the power to solve any complexity. Craig is committed to an organizational culture that makes it easy for customers and partners to do business with OneStream. General (Ret) David H. Petraeus

Chairman of the KKR Global Institute | KKR Read Bio
General (Ret) David H. Petraeus is a Partner with the global investment firm KKR and Chairman of the KKR Global Institute, which supports KKR’s investment committees, portfolio companies, and limited partners with analysis of geopolitical and macro-economic trends, as well as environmental, social, and governance issues. He is also a member of the boards of two of KKR’s companies: Optiv and OneStream.

Prior to joining KKR, Gen. Petraeus served over 37 years in the U.S. military, culminating his career with six consecutive commands, five of which were in combat, including command of coalition forces during the Surge in Iraq, U.S. Central Command, and coalition forces in Afghanistan.

Following his service in the military, Gen. Petraeus served as the Director of the CIA during a period of significant achievements in the global war on terror.

Gen. Petraeus has received numerous U.S. military, State Department, NATO, and United Nations medals and awards, including four Defense Distinguished Service Medals, the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, and the Combat Action Badge. He has also been decorated by 13 foreign countries.

Since leaving government, he has also served as a Visiting Professor at CUNY's Macaulay Honors College, a Judge Widney Professor at the University of Southern California, and a Senior Fellow at Harvard University. Additionally, General Petraeus is a member of the boards of the Institute for the Study of War, the Atlantic Council, the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, and over a dozen veterans service organizations.

Gen. Petraeus graduated with distinction from the U.S. Military Academy in 1974 and earned a Ph.D. from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He subsequently taught international relations and economics at USMA.

Dave Welsh

Dave Welsh is a Member and is Head of TMT Growth Equity within KKR's Private Equity platform, where he serves on the TMT growth equity investment committee. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Welsh was a Partner with Adams Street Partners, where he focused on technology growth equity investments. Earlier in his career he was Executive Vice President of corporate development and strategy at McAfee, Inc., a General Partner at Partech Ventures and vice president of corporate development at Portal Software.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cherwell, Five9, ForgeRock and OneStream. He is also a Board Member of SEO Scholars SF and the Special Olympics of Northern Calif & Nevada, and is the former Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Athenian School. He holds a B.A., cum laude, from UCLA and a JD, order of the coif, from UC Berkeley and Harvard Law Schools.

Kara Wilson

Kara Wilson is a strategic advisor for KKR within the technology practice. She has over 25 years of experience in driving go-to-market strategies for both large and medium companies as well as hypergrowth start-ups.

She has held marketing leadership roles with some of the technology industry’s most influential companies, including Okta, FireEye, Rubrik, Success Factors, SAP, Cisco, and PeopleSoft. Kara currently sits on the boards of Paychex, Epicor, OutSystems, KnowBe4, OneStream, Calabrio, and Corel.

Most recently, she was chief marketing officer for Rubrik, where she was responsible for the company's global marketing initiatives. Prior to Rubrik, Kara was EVP and CMO for cybersecurity company FireEye, where she helped launch the most successful security IPO in market history.

She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.

Bradley Brown

Bradley Brown joined KKR in 2018 and is a member of the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications industry team. He is involved with KKR's investments in BMC, Optiv, OneStream and Corel. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Brown was a partner at Pennant Capital Management, where he worked on public market investments across sectors. Prior to Pennant, he worked at Hellman & Friedman in San Francisco and Goldman Sachs in New York. Mr. Brown holds a B.S. from MIT and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Mike Burkland

Mike Burkland joined Five9 as president and CEO in January 2008. In December 2017, he transitioned to Executive Chairman for health reasons. During his time as CEO, Five9 revenue increased by 20x to over $200 million annually and the company's valuation increased by more than 100x. Five9 has grown into one of the largest and fastest growing providers of cloud contact center software. As CEO, Mike was responsible for the company’s strategic direction, financial success, and operational excellence.

Before Five9, Mike was the CEO of a handful of enterprise software and cloud companies in market segments ranging from systems management and content management to security and CRM. He has also led three private companies through successful acquisitions by larger public companies. Earlier in his career, he held various positions at Oracle and BMC. Mike holds MBA and BA degrees from the University of California at Berkeley.

John Kinzer

John Kinzer is an Operating Partner of Stripes Group focusing on SaaS investments. Currently, John serves on the Outsystems board and is the chairman of the audit committee.

Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of HubSpot, the inbound marketing and sales SaaS company, where he led a successful IPO in 2014 and saw the company grow from $80 million to $500 million and to over a $6 billion market cap.

Prior to HubSpot, John served as CFO for Blackboard, Inc., the leading SaaS education company. He played a key role in taking Blackboard public in 2004 and reaching over $500 million in revenue before being acquired by a private equity firm. Earlier in his career, Kinzer held leadership roles at MCI and Arthur Andersen, LLP.

John is a passionate supporter of his alma mater, Virginia Tech where he sits on Founder’s Circle of the Apex Center for Entrepreneurs.

Jonathan Mariner

Jonathan Mariner is a private investor, entrepreneur, and independent board member with more than two decades of experience working in professional sports. He’s currently the Founder and President of TaxDay, LLC, a private software firm that helps users track their multi-state travel for tax purposes. He also serves as a Senior Advisor to Overtime Sports, the newest sports network focused on young, digital-native sports fans. He spent over 14 years with Major League Baseball, as EVP and CFO under Commissioner Allan (“Bud”) Selig, and later as Chief Investment Officer under Commissioner Rob Manfred. Prior to that he served a 9-year stint as EVP and CFO of the Florida Marlins Baseball Club, and as VP and CFO of the Florida Panthers Hockey Club. Mr. Mariner sits on the Board of Directors of Tyson Foods, Inc.; McGraw Hill Education; and The Investors Exchange (IEX). He also serves as a board member on Little League Baseball International; the Board of trustees at Darden School at the University of Virginia; and on the Knight Commission for Intercollegiate Athletics. Mr. Mariner graduated from the University of Virginia with an accounting degree, received his MBA from Harvard Business School, and is a former Certified Public Accountant.
